Much of my spare time is spent on Round Table “Tabling”, either attending Round Table events or working towards them. I have carried out roles such as secretary, area liaison, area sports and social officer, area international relations officer and National Councillor.
It is great to belong to an organisation that has such aims and at the same time helps and supports local, national and international charities. While we raise funds through evens such as Fireworks on Bonfire night to support these charities, I always take great satisfaction knowing that some of the tickets that we have given to charitable organisations will allow disadvantaged Children to enjoy the show free of charge.
It has also allowed me to make great friends all around the world. There are events within Round Table that take place all year round and all over the world. I have been very privileged to attend the last three World Events involving Round Table in Las Vegas, Cyprus and South Africa.
I also provide my time and professional services to help out at surgeries on a pro bono basis at the Citizens Advice Bureau. For more information please click on

Ever since my first visit to the Devils in the mid 90’s with my wife I have been an avid supporter of our local Ice Hockey team; the Cardiff Devils. This is a great sport full of skill and speed that takes place in a family environment.
